Winnebago County Health Department offers trainings and presentations on a variety of topics including: naloxone, sexual transmitted diseases, and substance abuse prevention.

Naloxone Training
Naloxone is a non-addictive drug that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and save a life. Every home should have naloxone. This training prepares community members to use naloxone if needed and includes Free Naloxone kits.

Trauma 101 Training
Trauma is an event or experience, such as family violence or homelessness that has a negative effect on an individual. This training introduces participants to what trauma is and how trauma impacts our community. To attend a free training, email tic@publichealth.wincoil.gov for upcoming dates and times.
Food Establishment Training
Trainings are available for food and beverage establishment owners and operators to help identify steps to prevent foodborne illness and ensure compliance with the food code. Food Establishment Trainings will be posted here when available.
