2026 Trauma Film Series presents Healing Need on May 12

Trauma Film Series

See “Healing Neen” on Tuesday, May 12 at 6pm at the JR Sullivan Theater at The RPL Nordlof Center, located at 118 N. Main Street. “Healing Neen” explores the amazing recovery of Tonier ‘Neen’ Cain from a lifetime of abuse and drug addiction to a career as a nationally-known speaker and educator on the devastation of trauma and the hope of recovery. Following the film, there will be a discussion on the impact of trauma and how to build resiliency in our community.

Invite your coworkers, your family, and your friends to attend this film viewing and trauma discussion with you.

This film viewing and discussion are brought to you by the Rockford Public Library (RPL) in partnership with the Winnebago County Health Department’s Trauma Informed Community Workgroup.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
