See “Paper Tigers” on Tuesday, March 10 at 6pm at the JR Sullivan Theater at The RPL Nordlof Center, located at 118 N. Main Street. “Paper Tigers” chronicles a year with the principal of Lincoln High School in the community of Walla Walla, Washington after learning about the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and changing the school’s approach to discipline. Following the film, there will be a discussion on the impact of trauma and how to build resiliency in our community.
Invite your coworkers, your family, and your friends to attend this film viewing and trauma discussion with you.
This film viewing and discussion are brought to you by the Rockford Public Library (RPL) in partnership with the Winnebago County Health Department’s Trauma Informed Community Workgroup.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
