Trauma Informed Community / Violence Prevention Workgroup |
Join this workgroup in their efforts to build a trauma informed community, while working to reduce violence in Winnebago County. |
Maternal, Infant, and Child Health Team |
Be part of a collaboration of partners working toward keeping all moms and babies alive in Winnebago County and addressing the health disparities in maternal and infant death rates. |
Mental Health Advisory Committee |
This committee worked to establish a funding source for mental health resources in Winnebago County. This committee is now transferred to the Winnebago County Mental Health Board. |
Opioid Response Team |
Work with this team works to address the opioid overdoses crisis in Winnebago County. |
Communities of Concern |
Assist this workgroup in reducing health disparities through communications and outreach. This workgroups works to connect those in the community most vulnerable for health disparities to WCHD and to the resources, services, and guidance information provided. |
Information and Education Committee |
This committee works with WCHD on information and education materials for the Family Planning program. |

Volunteer
Volunteers help the Winnebago County Health Department to provide services to the whole community. A variety of volunteer opportunities exist. These positions are critical in times of public health emergencies and are also needed for non-emergency efforts as well.
