Winnebago County Residents can soon dispose of sharps at 5 sharps disposal boxes conveniently located across the county with one each in the northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and central sections.

How It Works
- Place needles and injectors in a sharps container
- Securely close the container
- Return it to a sharps disposal box
What If I Don't Have A Sharps Container?
All sharps must be in a sharps bin or other puncture resistant and sealed container. Each collection site has sharps containers available for free while supplies last.

- Connection Needles and Sets
- Auto Injectors (epi and insulin pens)
